Project 99 Brides started as a challenge between two fashion photographers Toonz & Lance - to see who will be the first to photograph 99 weddings.

Both photographers were focusing on fashion and advertising photography. (Check out their fashion works at http://www.offstone.com and http://www.stone.sg )

Bridal work came as an unexpected opportunity when Lance shot a fashion editorial series "Le Burdoir" for Her World Brides magazine in December 2006. That spread was very well received.

Shortly after, Toonz also begun shooting fashion spreads for bridal magazines as well. In the past year, the dynamic duo has dozens of bridal fashion spreads for various magazines like Wedding & Travel, Female Brides, Blissful Brides, Tatler Weddings, Her World Brides. Established bridal boutiques like Digio, Golden Horse, Frederick Lee Bridal etc have also engaged them to photograph for their advertising campaigns.

Soon wedding couples came knocking on their doors after seeing their works in magazines and bridal boutiques. However, Toonz & Lance prefer to focus on their fashion work and they can only handle selective bridal assignments. Close friend and associate Steve Lim was invited on board in mid-2007 to help cope with the popular demand.
